This was a remake project where we had to recreate a cover of an existing book that I did in my Computer Art Studio course at STLCC, Meramec. Queen’s Gambit is a fictional story written by Walter Tevis. It is one of my favorite books to read and show to watch on Netflix. There were many different book covers done on this story, and I wanted to do own my version. I chose a serif font in bold to make it slightly more fancy and straight to the point, while maintaining its mysterious and intimidating nature, hence the name Queen’s Gambit. I chose a black-and-white color palette and red for a sense of threat.
