This project was in my Design Play course, where we had to create a thank-you card for a specific audience. The idea to write a thank you card was brought upon me, wanting to write one for my sister. My sister and I grew up sharing a room for most of our childhood and into our early adult years, until recently she moved out. I wanted this thank you card to be about how it doesn’t matter what room or house she lives in, I just know it’s a safe space for me because she’s in it. The card is a door, and opening it leads you into a room with a heartfelt message. My target audiences are mainly sisters, but this can go for anyone who has lived with another person for an extended period or built a very close bond throughout the years of living together.
